How it differs from ILUMA i

The heating system, the sticks, the 6-minute or 14-puff session and the 20 uses per charge are the same as on the newer range. The first generation has no touch screen, Pause Mode, FlexPuff or FlexBattery, the holder models give two uses in a row instead of up to three, and ILUMA ONE is started with the button. Guides: IQOS ILUMA vs ILUMA i compares all six models, and which IQOS devices work with TEREA explains what fits what.

Which sticks they take

These devices heat TEREA sticks, which have a small metal heating element inside. The device warms the tobacco from within the stick by induction, so there is no blade, and the manufacturer states there is no tobacco residue and no cleaning. They do not take HEETS. Do not use TEREA sticks in IQOS 3 DUO or earlier devices: the manufacturer warns this may damage the device.
