TEREA is a heated tobacco stick made for IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices only. Each stick has a metal heating element, coated in stainless steel, that heats the tobacco from within. A pack holds 20 sticks and a carton 10 packs. Buy Terea Dubai stocks TEREA from 8 origins at AED 120 to AED 205 per carton.
Product facts come from Philip Morris International (PMI), IQOS UAE and IQOS Kuwait, checked on 23 October 2026. Stock and prices are from this shop on 23 October 2026; prices are per carton of 10 packs, 200 sticks.

TEREA: the basics
Philip Morris International (PMI), the company behind IQOS, describes TEREA SMARTCORE STICKS as heated tobacco sticks intended for exclusive use with the IQOS ILUMA induction heated tobacco device. You will also see them called TEREA sticks or IQOS TEREA; all three names mean the same product.
Buy Terea Dubai is a shop on Marasi Drive in Business Bay. We are not IQOS or Philip Morris International; we sell TEREA sticks and IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices, and you can buy TEREA in Dubai from us with delivery across all seven emirates.
What is inside a TEREA stick
PMI lists the parts of a TEREA stick as a tobacco plug, a filter, a cooling plug and a protective wrap. Inside the stick is a metal heating element, coated with stainless steel, that heats the tobacco from within. IQOS UAE adds that the tobacco part of a TEREA stick is fully sealed.
How TEREA works with IQOS ILUMA
You insert a TEREA stick into a device from the IQOS ILUMA series, and the device heats the tobacco with what IQOS calls the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM. IQOS describes the system as bladeless, with the metal heating element placed at the core of the tobacco stick.
IQOS UAE gives these figures for a session:
- One TEREA stick in an IQOS ILUMA i device lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first.
- IQOS ILUMA i and IQOS ILUMA i PRIME give up to 3 consecutive uses on a single charge, in Performance Mode with pause not activated.
- IQOS ILUMA i ONE gives up to 20 consecutive uses on a single charge.
IQOS UAE also notes that the way you puff changes how long a stick lasts, and that the number of uses per charge may fall as a device gets older.
Devices TEREA does not work with
IQOS UAE says not to use TEREA sticks in IQOS ORIGINALS or IQOS ORIGINALS ONE devices, as this may damage the device. Because the tobacco part is fully sealed, TEREA is not compatible with IQOS 3 DUO or any earlier device that heats with a blade, and using a TEREA stick in a blade device may damage the blade. PMI adds that TEREA cannot be used with its other heated tobacco products, such as BONDS by IQOS.
HEETS are a different product: IQOS Kuwait describes them as the sticks for previous IQOS devices with a blade, and says an IQOS ILUMA device will not start with a HEETS stick, because it is designed only for the fully sealed TEREA sticks. Our guide to the difference between TEREA and HEETS explains why they do not swap, and the list of IQOS devices that work with TEREA names every compatible model. Buy Terea Dubai sells TEREA only, not HEETS.
Safety points from the manufacturer
IQOS UAE warns that TEREA sticks must not be swallowed or taken apart, because they contain a sharp metal part that can cause serious injury if swallowed. Keep them out of reach of children. IQOS UAE also states that the product is not risk-free and contains nicotine, which is addictive.
Words you will see on TEREA packs and pages
- SMARTCORE STICK: the manufacturer’s name for a TEREA stick.
- SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM: the way an IQOS ILUMA device heats the tobacco, through the metal element inside the stick.
- Origin: the market a pack was made for, such as Japan or Kazakhstan. It decides the flavour range and the language of the health warnings, and at this shop it sets the price.
- Carton: 10 packs of 20 sticks, 200 sticks in total. Every TEREA listing on this site is sold by the carton. Our guide to how many sticks are in a TEREA pack and carton has the details.
- Pearl: a TEREA stick with a capsule in the filter. You press the capsule to change the taste.
TEREA flavours and origins in the UAE
TEREA is made for many national markets, and each market has its own flavour range. On 23 October 2026, Buy Terea Dubai had 113 TEREA products in stock, from 8 origins and under 54 flavour names. Going by this shop’s product descriptions, they fall into three types:
- No menthol and no capsule (44 products): the classic tobacco sticks, such as Amber, Yellow, Silver, Bronze, Sienna and Teak, plus the Regular range from Japan and a few Indonesian blends with clove or fruit aromas.
- Menthol or cooling, no capsule (38 products): such as Turquoise, Purple Wave, Green Zing and the menthol range from Japan.
- Pearl capsule sticks (31 products): such as Provence Pearl, Twilight Pearl, Sun Pearl and Oasis Pearl, where pressing the capsule in the filter changes the taste.

The same flavour name can appear in several origins. TEREA Amber, for example, is stocked here from 6 of the 8 origins. This shop’s product descriptions note that a blend can differ slightly from one market to another, and the health warnings on each pack are printed in the language of the market it was made for, such as Japanese on Japan packs and Arabic and English on UAE packs.
For taste notes on every flavour, see the TEREA flavours guide. For how the eight origins differ in range, pack and price, see TEREA origins compared. To browse everything at once, open all TEREA sticks in stock.
TEREA prices and what affects them
At Buy Terea Dubai, the price of a TEREA carton depends mainly on its origin. Within one origin, every flavour costs the same or within AED 5 of the others.
- Lowest: Indonesia, from AED 120 per carton. That is AED 12 per pack, or AED 0.60 per stick.
- Central Asian origins: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, AED 125 to AED 130 per carton.
- European origins: Switzerland at AED 156 and Italy at AED 180 per carton.
- UAE origin: AED 200 per carton.

Delivery is free from AED 300 and costs AED 30 below that. Two cartons from Italy, Switzerland, the UAE or Japan pass AED 300; from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan or Indonesia it takes three cartons. For the price of every flavour in every origin, see TEREA prices in Dubai.

- Pay cash or card when the order arrives, or pay by a payment link on WhatsApp.
How to choose your first TEREA
Start with the device. TEREA works only in IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i devices, so if you own an older IQOS, you will need a new device first.
Then pick the type of taste. These three are examples from this shop’s product descriptions, each AED 125 per carton:
- Classic tobacco: TEREA Amber Kazakhstan, a rounded, toasted tobacco blend with woody and nutty aroma notes, with no menthol and no capsule.
- Menthol: TEREA Turquoise Kazakhstan, crisp menthol cooling over a lightly toasted tobacco blend, with subtle zesty aroma notes.
- Capsule: TEREA Provence Pearl Kyrgyzstan, a tobacco blend that switches to grape with menthol when you press the capsule.
Then pick the origin. If price matters most, the Indonesian and Central Asian origins cost AED 120 to AED 130 per carton. If you want health warnings in Arabic and English, choose the UAE origin. If you want the widest choice of menthol sticks, Japan has 11 and Indonesia 10.

No. TEREA is a heated tobacco stick: PMI lists its parts as a tobacco plug, a filter, a cooling plug and a protective wrap, with a metal heating element inside. It contains tobacco, not e-liquid.
Are TEREA and HEETS the same?
No. HEETS are for earlier IQOS devices with a blade and TEREA is for IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i; IQOS says an ILUMA device will not start with a HEETS stick, and warns against using TEREA in a blade device. Buy Terea Dubai sells TEREA only, not HEETS.

Partly. Each origin has its own flavour range, price and pack language, and this shop’s product descriptions note that a blend can differ slightly from one market to another. The format is the same in every origin we stock: 20 sticks per pack and 10 packs per carton.
